Closed Off Sumner Road, Christchurch 4K Drone’s View From Lyttelton to Summit Road.

This road has been closed since the 2011 Christchurch earthquake. It was a popular scenic road of Lyttelton harbour and Sumner town. In this video you can see parts of the road have fallen away, or have grass growing over it, or boulders have fallen down on it. The road in its current state is unusable and the Christchurch City Council is working hard to fix it and reopen it to the public.  You can still visit and see the beautiful scenery at the top of Evans Pass.

This video was shot using a Gopro Hero 4 Black in 4K @30fps. Also using the DJI Phantom 2 drone. Edited on Sony Vegas Pro 12.
The soundtrack used is called “Get Back Up” by Silent Partner from YouTube’s Audio Library.
